Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! Where could someone find Golden Goose sneakers?

Placed my order on April 28th and they were shipped to me by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick – definitely a bonus

Back in April, I found a deal for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.

Are they true to size?
They’re true to size in my experience, at least for me.
They haven’t stretched at all, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up a size
Are they comfortable?
They felt good almost immediately. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they help with airflow. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Plus, they’re already distressed so your feet just slide in.
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid. Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
These are the best sneakers I own. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They include a built-in arch bump that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the glitter on mine? Next-level.
Would you buy again?
Totally! Just try not to pay full price. They cost a lot, so getting them on sale is a better idea. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a neutral version would also be smart.
